About the Author 

I.L. Jordan is a first generation Cuban-American and lover of all things horror, the paranormal and dark romance. Growing up, she was the resident storyteller and comic relief. Since she was old enough to hold a pencil, she’s been writing twisted stories and poems.

JAC Press stands behind the printing and manufacturing quality of our books.

If your order contains a significant printing or manufacturing defect, such as missing pages, incorrect binding, major printing errors, or other production defects, please contact us within seven (7) calendar days of delivery with photographs of the issue.

Verified manufacturing defects are eligible for resolution under our quality guarantee, including replacement or refund where appropriate. Replacement availability is not guaranteed for limited editions or sold-out products.

Shipping Damage

All books are individually inspected before shipment and packaged with care. However, packages may experience impacts, compression, or other handling during transit.

Damage occurring during transit is not covered by our printing and manufacturing quality guarantee.

Minor cosmetic shipping damage, including light scuffs, small dents, minor corner wear, or superficial creasing, does not automatically qualify for a refund, replacement, or return.

Visible shipping damage must be reported within seven (7) calendar days of confirmed delivery to qualify for review under our voluntary damage-resolution policy.

Please include clear photographs of the affected item and its original shipping packaging.

Claims submitted after this period are not eligible for discretionary refunds, replacements, or credits under this policy.

Each timely claim will be reviewed individually. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a partial refund for customers wishing to keep their item, or another appropriate resolution.

These reporting deadlines do not limit any rights or remedies required by applicable law.

Complimentary Items

Unadvertised complimentary gifts or promotional extras included with an order are provided at no additional charge.

Minor cosmetic imperfections or damage limited to these complimentary items do not qualify for a refund of the purchased product. Complimentary items are not guaranteed to be replaced.

Items specifically advertised as included with a purchased edition are considered part of that purchased product.

General Returns

Due to the limited-run, made-to-order, and personalized nature of many of our books, we do not accept general returns for changes of mind or personal preferences.

Except for verified product defects, applicable delivery issues, or circumstances required by law, all book sales are final.

Preorders & Payments

Preorders are charged in full immediately upon placement of the order, rather than when the item ships.

Each preorder will display an anticipated shipping date on its product listing. Customers will receive shipping confirmation and tracking information when their order is dispatched.

Shipping dates are subject to change. If we are unable to ship within the stated timeframe, customers will be notified and provided the cancellation or refund options required by applicable law.

Personalized & Signed Preorders

Preorders involving personalized signatures, individual inscriptions, or other customizations generally cannot be canceled once personalization has begun.
